• Master of Science in Mechanic Engineer (equivalent to Mechanic Engineer Degree in Brazil) or related field;
• Proven experience in vehicle brake testing activities and related testing equipment (pressure transducers setup, accelerometers, GPS and CAN signals data acquisition and analysis);
• Proven experience in vehicle testing, particularly in braking systems and vehicle dynamics;
• Solid understanding of commercial vehicle braking systems;
• In-depth knowledge of Electronic Braking Systems (EBS) and their functions;
• Proficiency with tools such as Canalyzer, Vision, and other data acquisition, programming, and diagnostic tools;
• Understanding of CAN network fundamentals in commercial vehicles;
• Experience in using data acquisition systems and analyzing CAN bus data;
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;
• Ability to work collaboratively with certification authorities and internal teams;
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal;
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, demonstrated by the ability to communicate precisely and persuasively;
• Availability to travel;
• Solid customer and end-user mindset;
• Highly organized and structured, with a proven ability to drive projects to successful completion;
• D or E driver’s license and proven driving experience is a differential for this position.
Atividades:
• Conduct comprehensive brake system evaluations on commercial vehicles to ensure compliance with national and international safety regulations;
• Instrument vehicles with the necessary sensors and devices, including pressure transducers, accelerometers, GPS, and CAN signals to capture accurate data during tests;
• Collaborate with certification authorities to execute brake certification tests, ensuring all requirements are meticulously met;
• Perform dynamic tests to assess vehicle brake performance and safety under various conditions;
• Analyze test data, prepare detailed reports, and provide insights and recommendations to enhance vehicle performance and safety;
• Work closely with the product development team to implement design changes based on test findings;
