You bring to Applaudo the following competencies.
Desirable Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
4+ years of experience working as a DevOps Engineer with Amazon Web Services.
Proficiency with AWS services.
EC2, S3, ECS/EKS, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation, CloudWatch.
Proficiency with IaC tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
Experience with CI/CD tools like CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, Jenkins.
Configuration management tools like Ansible.
Monitoring tools like CloudWatch, CloudTrail, X-Ray, Prometheus, Grafana.
Proficiency with cloud security best practices.
Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills Excellent communication and collaboration competencies.
Advanced english proficiency.
You will be accountable for the following responsibilities.
Write Terraform configurations to represent the AWS infrastructure state in code.
Represent the actual infrastructure in network/topology/services diagrams in each environment (Development, QA, Production).
Plan and conduct game days to test and enhance the code and diagrams.
Propose the best practice approaches in terms of architecture design, security, naming conventions, governance, etc.
Support CI/CD lifecycle.
Take ownership of the AWS environment assigned.
