Job Description Job Summary.
The Brand Manager will be responsible for formulating and implementing the strategic direction and action plan for the sustainable growth and success of the Haematology, Immunology, and Oncology portfolio.
The Brand Manager will develop an action plan to leverage the organization's capabilities to launch new products, grow market share and revenue, build a high-performance team, and create a "best-in-class" business across multiple metrics.
Key & Responsibilities & Accountabilities.
Functional (primary job responsibilities) Develop the annual marketing plan, including strategy and marketing message, and align with regional plans where appropriate.
Define growth opportunities for all brands by channel.
Ensure the successful identification, planning, and launch of new products and post-launch activities, as well as new business opportunities.
Develop and implement a promotional plan, including field force aids, promotional literature/videos/materials, and ad campaigns/PR, and assess the outcomes of promotional campaigns.
Manage the product life cycle, including new products, line extensions, and new indications.
Formulate and effectively communicate product launch plans and ensure implementation.
Develop comprehensive product training manuals and deliver product training to the field force as required.
Conduct fieldwork with representatives on a monthly basis.
Managerial Contribution to Strategy and Objectives Formulate marketing strategies with a market and competitor-based rationale in line with global strategies.
Develop a promotional plan based on strategy and work cohesively with the field force team to achieve desired results.
Organization Cost/Budget Control Allocate and manage expense budget mix to marketing activities.
Monitor A&P budget performance.
Accurately forecast stocks to avoid stock write-offs and overstocking.
Review and maintain product profitability & ASP.
Qualification/Attributes.
Undergraduate degree in Science/Applied Science/Business and preferably with Marketing knowledge.
3 -5 years of field experience in the pharmaceutical industry and 2 -3 years of marketing experience.
Excellent written and verbal presentation skills.
Strategic orientation and customer focus.
Able to analyze complex scientific data in the context of the pharmaceutical industry.
Strong business partnering, teamwork, and influential skills.
Agile, independent, and innovative with a high level of initiative and innovation required for new product launch preparations.
