Responsibilities We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Payroll & General Accountant to join our growing team.
This combined role offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in both payroll processing and core accounting functions.
You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of payroll, as well as assisting with various general accounting tasks.
Payroll.
Process payroll for all employees.
Calculate and ensure accurate deductions and withholdings for taxes and benefits.
Maintain employee payroll records and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
Prepare and issue paychecks or direct deposits timely.
Address and resolve employee payroll inquiries.
Generate and submit payroll reports as required.
General Accounting.
Assist with accounts payable and receivable Financial Reporting functions.
Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
Reconcile bank statements monthly.
Assist with month-end closing procedures.
Assist in Internal and External Audits Budgeting Forecasting and analysis Financial presentations Any task assigned by Manager   Qualifications   Qualifications.
CA/ACCA & MBA (Finance) Minimum 4-5 years of experience in a payroll and/or general accounting role.
Proven experience with payroll processing software.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices (GAAP).
Excellent organizational, time management, and attention to detail skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
