TAX ANALYST

Job Description.
What are we looking for? At least 4 years relevant transactional tax experience; Bachelor’s degree required, preferred in Economics, Finance, Business, Accounting or related field; Experience maintaining and operating transaction tax calculation and compliance software (desirable SAP, SATI, TaxOne – desirable OneNavision); Excellent oral and written communication skills; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Highly organized, self-motivated and detail oriented; English skills - Intermediate (desirable); Desirable experience in transformational projects (like new systems implementation, business integration, etc).
What will be your key responsibilities? End-to-end tax calculation (PIS, Cofins, ICMS, ICMS-ST, IPI and ISSQN) as well as respective tax ancillary obligations (SPED Fiscal, EFD Contribuições, GIA, GIA-ST, DCTF, etc); Account reconciliation; Analyze and propose solutions to specific situations and projects; Support for tax planning projects; Setup and review fiscal parameters on systems; Manage relationship with outside service providers; Support other team members and stay up to date on tax laws; Document workflow, procedures, checklists, and policies for assigned tasks; Develop, test and initiate strategies for auditing and testing of programs and procedures as well as implement best qualitative practices and procedures; Respond to ad-hoc requests; What can you expect from Mars?
