Open English Junior is searching for English speakers with K-12 experience to provide academic services for beginner to advanced students from the comfort of their own home.

Complete the Open English and Open English Junior certification programs and other required training when needed Deliver high quality, English language instruction in private and group classes through our learning platforms (audio/video based).
Employ the OE curriculum, online pedagogy and teaching methodology to provide a consistent student experience Provide individual feedback to students after each class Maintain knowledge of the Open English and Open English Junior learning platforms, brands, Company policies and goals, internal communication systems, and the students Requirements.
Must have a minimum of 1 year prior experience teaching English as a second language, in a K-12 educational setting; online experience preferred Has completed a degree program at an accredited institution of higher education in Linguistics, Education, English, Modern Languages or Literatures, or related field; or holds a TESOL, TEFL, CELTA or equivalent Must be bilingual; able to communicate in English and Portuguese both clearly and professionally, both orally and in writing General awareness of and ability to apply the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal High degree of professionalism Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment Effective at problem solving and troubleshooting Patient and outgoing Must provide ten (10) hours minimum of availability each week from 9am-11pm Must have dedicated, private workspace Must have a reliable, high-speed (at least 2Mbps) internet connection Must have a webcam and headset with microphone.
