Insurance Manager Fifa - Job DescriptionThe PositionThe overall purpose of the Insurance Manager is to ensure the efficient implementation and supervision of the insurance coverage according to FIFA requirements. He will also be the local contact person to the local Insurance Brokers. All tasks listed below shall be conducted in close collaboration with the FIFA Insurance Lead, and where needed with the FIFA Audit, Risk & Advisory subdivision. Key ResponsibilitiesImplement and monitor an appropriate local insurance solution (Personal Insurances, Property Damage and Business Interruption Insurances, Marine Cargo & Liability Insurances (e. G. General Liability incl. Medical Malpractice, D&O, Error & Omissions, Motor Liability etc. )) for all FWWC 2027 entities. Monitor and advice the Host Cities, Stadium Owners, Training Site Owners in regards to the insurance requirements and make sure that all is implemented in time. Collaborate with Legal and Procurement teams in order to make sure that all legal contracts, which the FWWC 2027 entities will enter with sponsors, suppliers and event contractors for services required to deliver FIFA Woman World Cup 2027, have the required adequate and appropriate insurance clauses, indemnities and warranties in place. Develop, implement and monitor an appropriate insurance manual and a claim insurance administration policy & procedures, to be used by FIFA Woman World Cup 2027 stakeholders. In the event of a claim (Personal, Property & Liability) to record, administer and report the claim and discuss with the FIFA Lead Insurance, local Broker and/or the insurer. Being the insurance interface for the local FWWC 2027 entities for all internal and external stakeholders. Identification and evaluation of potential risks and proposal of countermeasures. Being part and support the implementation of a local risk management program for the FIFA Woman World Cup 2027 entities. Regular organization of insurance surveys. Your profileMinimum 10 years experience in the insurance and risk sector. Solid experience in the areas of insurance on the local Brazil markets as well as experience in risk management, insurance and contract draftingStrong knowledge of the insurance laws in the Brazil. Understanding of which conditions are usual good local standard in Brazil. Good familiarity with the market players and experience in negotiations with the local insurersProven record of accomplishment in internal risk management and insurance issues settlement (especially on local mandatory insurances and employee benefits) and understanding of how high a deductible should be set etc. Right to work in Brazil. Fluent in English (spoken and written)Fluent in Portuguese (spoken and written)Ability to re-locate to Rio de Janeiro.
