MANUFACTURING BUSINESS SPECIALIST - MES

They are seeking a Manufacturing Business Specialist to provide expert-level support, continuous improvement recommendations, and coordination of business applications across production and shopfloor systems.
This role is ideal for someone with solid experience in DELMIA Apriso, MES integrations, and manufacturing process optimization who is passionate about problem-solving and stakeholder collaboration in complex, high-impact environments.
Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day support for MES and shopfloor applications, ensuring service quality and compliance with SLA targets.
Analyze business needs and system requirements to design functional enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop and maintain system reports based on user demand using tools like Power BI and SSRS.
Translate business requirements into technical documentation for development teams.
Collaborate with factory teams, IT staff, and external vendors to ensure alignment on system usage and improvements.
Maintain documentation and updates in the work order system (Pharos).
Guide and mentor junior team members, fostering team growth and knowledge sharing.
Support the change management process for application updates, following corporate IT policies.
Participate in global coordination meetings and share best practices across multiple manufacturing sites.
Provide on-call 24/7 support coverage for mission-critical systems when required.
Ideal Candidate Profile Education.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
Experience.
5–7 years delivering enterprise-class solutions in industrial or manufacturing environments.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with DELMIA Apriso (Process Builder and Global Process Management).
Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, JDE, or MAPICS in the context of production planning and scheduling.
Technical Skills.
Strong SQL expertise (MS SQL Server preferred).
Experience with reporting tools like Power BI and SSRS.
Hands-on knowledge of Machine Integrator and MES integration points.
Experience with labeling solutions, preferably Loftware.
Desirable exposure to modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Vue, or React), Node.

Awareness of IT/OT integration and cybersecurity fundamentals is a plus.

Work Environment This position is based on-site in Curitiba or São Paulo, working within a global team responsible for driving operational excellence in manufacturing through digital solutions.
