ACCOUNTING MANAGER

Accounting Manager - This position plays a critical role in supervising, training, and guiding the accounting team, while ensuring accuracy in reporting, compliance, and continuous process improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Review and prepare consolidated financial statements (internal and external) - Maintain general ledger entries and reconcile accounts - Develop and implement efficient accounting procedures - Respond to accounting inquiries through data analysis and interpretation - Collaborate with firm during year-end audit - Lead the month-end close process and related financial analysis - Maintain effective communication across departments on accounting matters - Ensure deep understanding of financial reporting and ledger structures - Analyze income statement accounts on a monthly basis - Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations - Support additional assignments directed by the Corporate Controller - Define annual objectives with direct reports and monitor performanceRequired Qualifications: - Bachelor''s degree in Accounting - Active CRC (CPA) registration - 5+ years of experience in financial reporting and general ledger supervision - Experience with SOX reporting in publicly traded companies - Fluent in EnglishPreferred Qualifications: - Masters degree or MBA - Experience in public accounting or manufacturing industry - Advanced Excel proficiency - SAP and BlackLine Systems experience - Experience with multi-ledger, multi-currency, and global consolidations - Strong analytical mindset and systems-oriented profile - Ability to adapt to deadline-driven environments and shifting priorities - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work autonomously with initiative and focus on deliveryLocation: Barra Funda - SP
