ACCOUNTING OPERATIONS SPECIALIST (PAYMENTS)

Accounting Operations Specialist (Payments) - Furthermore, monitors the monthly variation and explains the amounts in the trial balance. Has a close relationship with the payment and operation teams. Responsible for the local accounting monthly closing activities, including reporting, preparing, and reviewing reconciliations (end to end) with high quality and following the best practices. Also, responsible for account variance analysis for reporting purposes (Month to Month, Year to Year, and explanations). Has a close relationship with the payment, operation, and HQ teams. - Responsible for the local journal entries and accounting monthly closing activities, including reporting, preparing and reviewing reconciliations (end to end);- Bridging Local x US GAAP;- Support daily GL operations, reconciliation and process controlling;- Assist in ensuring effective internal control procedures and compliance of accounting standards, company policies and statutory requirements;- Interface with internal and external auditors;- Reports to Brazilian central bank;- Liquidity and minimum capital requirement to Brazilian central bank;- Assessment of new BCB rules GL plan and new accounting rules IFRS 9 and 16. - Consolidation of financial statements (prudential consolidated). **Requirements**:- Bachelor''s degree in Accounting;- Solid experience in Accounting;- Experience working in an outsourcing accounting company;- Experience in investment fund and payment/credit institutions;- Advanced English
