AWS DEVOPS ENGINEER

QUALIFICATIONS Advanced English level Work at US Central Timezone Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
At least 10 years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role with a strong focus on AWS cloud services.
In-depth understanding of AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, Cognito, RDS, VPC, CloudFormation, and others.
Advanced knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or AWS CDK, and CloudFormation.
Proven track record with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or similar.
Strong experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Solid scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Perl for creating automation scripts.
Experience in managing full-stack applications, including both front-end and back-end components.
Expertise in monitoring, logging, and management tools like Datadog AWS CloudWatch, and ELK stack.
Strong understanding of network architecture and application development methodologies.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to mentor team members, lead projects, and interface with stakeholders at all levels.
AWS certifications.
AWS SysOps Administrator, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional are preferred.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES Lead the automation of infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment processes, utilizing AWS services and third-party tools.
Create and manage CI/CD pipelines using Harness and TeamCity to streamline deployment and operation tasks, ensuring high availability and seamless rollout of updates.
Drive best practices in infrastructure security, compliance auditing, and perform regular security assessments, aligning with industry and AWS-specific security standards.
Optimize AWS cloud resources for cost-efficient operation, regularly reviewing performance metrics and implementing cost-saving measures.
Foster a DevOps culture within the organization, mentoring junior engineers and advocating for a collaborative, automated, and iterative approach to development and operations.
Spearhead the integration of complex systems, ensuring high interoperability between cloud services and on-premises legacy systems.
Lead by example, staying abreast of the latest AWS features and capabilities, and applying this knowledge to continually innovate the platform.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, security, and product, to define requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver high-quality solutions.
