CLIENT ACCOUNT DIRECTOR

Client Account Director - This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join our senior management team and contribute to our growth in an international risk and insurance environment as part of the WTW Group. Principal Duties/Responsibilities- Overall responsibility for the management of a portfolio of insurance and finance companies. - Maintaining an on-going relationship with assigned clients and gaining an understanding of the clients business and industry. - Relationship management with the owner/parent company, insurance regulator, directors, auditors, actuaries, bankers, tax advisers etc. - Responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. - Responsible for ensuring the maintenance of all company secretarial and corporate governance requirements. - Overall responsibility for the production of financial and management information. - Providing mentorship to junior colleagues. - Providing operational and strategic input as part of the office senior management team. - Adherence to the WTW core values of Client Focus, Teamwork, Respect, Integrity and Excellence. Specific activities:- Management of the client service teams you will have responsibility for in order to deliverthe WTW service offering. - Monitoring and ensuring that each company complies with Guernsey Law and regulations. - Preparation/review of Management Accounts, and any other ad hoc reports and budgets,forecasts etc. in a format prescribed by our clients. - Preparation/review and timely filing of all regulatory and statistical reporting requirements. - Preparation/review of client companies year-end financial statements and liaising with external auditors. - Oversight of cash management and reconciliation in accordance with instructions providedby the Board, including liaison with the companys banks and investment managers andthe production of appropriate reports. - Overall responsibility for organising and attendance of client board meetings and AGMsincluding presentation of material. - Client entertainment as part of regular Board visits, as required. - Assist in new business opportunities as they arise. QualificationsQualifications, Knowledge and Experience- Professional Accounting Qualification (ACA/ACCA; CAT/AAT etc. )- Advantageous: Experience of Guernsey Regulatory environment- Advantageous: Experience of (re)insurance accounting preparation- Advantageous: Knowledge of captive insurance industrySkills and Attributes- Excellent oral/written communication skills- Professional outlook- Team player- Positive attitude, contribution to the positive working environment- Organised- Ability to work independently and within a team- Ability to work to tight deadlines, producing high quality deliverableEqual Opportunity EmployerAt WTW, we believe difference makes us stronger.
