Logistics Network Development · Develop and maintain local logistics resources (ports, free trade zones, land transport) to optimize commodity (minerals, agriculture, metals) transport solutions. · Design cross-border logistics strategies by integrating multimodal transport (maritime, road, railway, pipeline). 2. Regional Operations Management · Oversee end-to-end customs clearance and transportation processes at key national ports/nodes, ensuring supply chain stability. · Manage partnerships with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and shipping lines to resolve operational disruptions. 3. Risk & Compliance · Formulate contingency plans for regulatory changes and ensure compliance with local laws and international trade terms (e. G. , Incoterms® 2020). 4. Team & Cross-Cultural Leadership · Lead local multicultural teams, bridge operational culture gaps, and drive efficient project execution. Qualifications 1. Education: · Bachelors/Masters in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or related field. 2. Experience: · 5+ years in international commodity logistics. · 3+ years managing in-country logistics operations. · Expertise in local customs policies, commodity import/export procedures, and port regulations. 3. Languages: · Fluent in local language (mandatory). · Professional English proficiency (preferred). 4. Skills: · Proven collaboration with top-tier logistics providers in the region. · Exceptional cost control, crisis management, and cross-cultural negotiation skills. · Willingness to travel frequently.
