Data scientist - Youll work closely with cross-functional teams to collect representative questions and datasets aligned with real-world use cases. Your responsibilities will include designing and executing statistical performance evaluations, analyzing results using visualization tools, and iterating on hypotheses to improve search quality. Youll also be responsible for producing documentation similar to white paperssummarizing methodologies, findings, and insights to inform stakeholders and guide future development. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, hands-on coding ability, and the ability to move from exploratory notebooks to production-ready code. Collaboration with engineering and product teams is key, as is a passion for data-driven decision-making. Must Haves: 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist Experience designing or contributing to evaluation systems for search or ML models Strong coding skills in Python and R, with experience contributing to large codebases beyond Jupyter notebooks (e. g. , production environments) Solid foundation in statistics and probability Experience with data ingestion, data visualization, and data analysis Plusses: Familiarity with tools such as Tableau and Kibana Experience with search technologies and search evaluation metrics Hands-on experience with A/B testing and performance evaluation frameworks Exposure to Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques and applications Familiarity with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) or similar architectures Benefits Information CLT This is a CLT opportunity. You are eligible for 15 days annual holidays/sick time and 30 days annual time off. Benefits also include an FTGS contribution, social security contribution, and a meal voucher. Annual salary will be paid in local currency (REAL), and ranges based on years of experience and skillset. Full details on time off listed below. Medical/healthcare is NOT provided due to the public healthcare system. EOR (CLT) in Brazil have all the statutory benefits: Meal Voucher Social Security Workers Compensation Insurance State Pension Fund Paid Time Off Both full-time and part-time employees are entitled to 30 calendar days of paid time off (PTO) a year. PTO accrues monthly at 2. 5 days per month. Employees are eligible for annual leave after 1 year of work. During the first year of employment, an employee is not allowed to take any leave.
