Descripción del trabajo Collaborate with Innovative 3Mers Around the World Join 3M as a Demand Planner in the Transportation and Electronics Business Group (TEBG) for Brazil, where you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our supply chain processes.
As a Demand Planner, you will be responsible for creating and managing demand plans that are essential for material flow throughout the supply chain.
You will coordinate with local liaisons to address issues such as late supply orders and required service levels.
Your analytical skills will help improve business results by interpreting data and promoting supply chain optimization.
The impact you will make in this role Manage demand planning exceptions related to out-of-control demand, forecast bias, and unusual month-to-date demand.
Utilize forecast performance metrics tools to measure accuracy, assess forecast bias, and identify sources of forecast error.
Lead monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) sessions and weekly Demand Supply Review (DSR) sessions.
Participate in the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, focusing on aligning the demand plan with the business plan (Operating Plan/Quarterly Operating Review).
Manage supply chain objectives, including inventory levels, Days Inventory Outstanding (DIO), On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery, and order book attainment.
Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications.
Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university.
Experience in demand planning is required.
Proficiency in analytical tools such as Excel, Power BI, and Minitab.
Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and self-motivational skills.
Experience working on cross-functional teams.
Minimum Intermediate English and Spanish proficiency is required.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include.
Experience utilizing Lean Six Sigma (LSS) methodologies.
Experience in supply chain, transportation and logistics, and/or production planning is preferred.
