Job Purpose As a Demand Planning Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate demand forecasts across all sales channels, including Wholesale, Franchises, Owned Stores, and E-commerce.
By analyzing historical sales data, market trends, and various variables, you will generate forecasts that drive operational and strategic decisions.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to align forecasts with business objectives and optimize inventory management processes.
Critical Results Demand Forecasting Process.
Execute end-to-end demand forecasting processes for all sales channels.
Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and seasonality to generate accurate demand forecasts.
Utilize advanced forecasting techniques and software tools to enhance forecast accuracy.
Monitor forecast performance metrics such as Forecast Accuracy, Fill Rate, MAPE, and Bias.
Cross-Functional Collaboration.
Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Merchandising, Marketing, Production, and Operations teams to gather relevant data and insights.
Align demand forecasts with sales targets, production capacities, and inventory levels.
Participate actively in Strategic Planning, Consensus Meeting, Demand Review, S&OP, and Open-to-Buy (OTB) processes to ensure synchronization between demand, production, and stock availability.
Continuous Improvement.
Identify opportunities to improve forecasting models and methodologies.
Proactively adjust forecast models based on changing market dynamics, business strategies, and external factors.
Contribute to process enhancements and automation initiatives to streamline demand forecasting workflows.
Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Proven experience in demand forecasting, preferably in the retail or consumer goods industry.
Proficiency in statistical analysis, forecasting techniques, and demand planning software (e.
., SAP APO, SAS, LINX, EXCEL, POWER BI, ALTERYX, SQL).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw actionable insights.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
