We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Microsoft Fabric Sr Engineer to join our team.
This role is crucial for the design, development, and implementation of scalable data solutions using Microsoft Fabric.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Microsoft Fabric, Azure services, and data architecture principles, enabling them to lead projects that enhance our data capabilities and drive business insights.
Job Responsibilities Design and Development.
Lead the design and development of advanced analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI, ensuring they meet business needs and performance standards.
Data Pipeline Management.
Develop and manage Azure Data Factory pipelines to streamline data processing and integration, ensuring efficient data flow across systems.
Scripting and Automation.
Create SQL and Python scripts to automate data processes, enhancing analytical capabilities and operational efficiency.
Cross-Functional Collaboration.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
Performance Assurance.
Ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of data solutions, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues.
Technical Leadership.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Industry Awareness.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in data architecture and analytics, applying this knowledge to enhance our solutions.
Data Management.
Utilize Microsoft SQL Server On-Prem and SSIS as a source to pull data, ensuring robust data management practices.
Must-Have Skills Microsoft Fabric.
Expertise in Microsoft Fabric, including its architecture and capabilities for building scalable data solutions.
Azure Services.
Proficient in Azure services such as Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Data Engineering, and Azure Synapse Data Warehouse, with a strong understanding of how to leverage these services for data solutions.
Data Architecture.
Solid experience in data architecture principles, including data modeling and database design, to create efficient and effective data structures.
Data Engineering.
Proven experience as a Data Engineer, with a focus on building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes.
Data Warehouse.
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and practices, ensuring data is organized and accessible for analysis.
CI/CD.
Experience managing CI/CD pipelines, builds, and releases, ensuring smooth deployment and integration of data solutions.
Database Design.
Strong skills in database design and management, particularly with SQL Server, to ensure data integrity and performance.
Nice-to-Have Skills Power BI.
Familiarity with Power BI for data visualization and reporting, enabling effective communication of insights derived from data.
Python.
Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and analysis, enhancing the ability to automate processes and develop analytical solutions.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
5 years of experience in data architecture, design, and development using Microsoft Fabric and Azure platform services.
Strong analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills, with excellent problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional communication skills, capable of clearly explaining complex technical concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
