Advance your career as an Engineer by contributing significantly to projects aimed at optimizing data product runtime architecture within SAP Business Data Cloud.
Enhance your technical skills while supporting scalable and efficient data solutions   Responsibilities.
Analyze Spark workloads under supervision to refine performance and optimize resource usage.
Implement and maintain monitoring solutions for Spark applications, addressing basic performance issues.
Collaborate with teams to support frameworks that enable elastic scaling of workloads.
Document optimization techniques and contribute to workshops to share insights with peers.
Participate in automation initiatives, learning to apply AI concepts to data processing tasks.
Qualifications.
Solid understanding of distributed computing principles and their applications in data processing.
Basic working knowledge of Apache Spark architecture and operations.
Proficiency in writing SQL queries and using DataFrames for data manipulation.
Developing capability in troubleshooting and diagnosing runtime issues.
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Spark’s web UI and Grafana.
Enthusiasm for learning AI and ML applications in data engineering tasks.
