FULL-STACK SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

Who we are and what we do
Shaw and Partners is a software development provider for high-profile startups with approximately 25 remote staff. We are also incubating two startups. Christopher Shaw, the founder and CEO, would be your manager.

Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
Identify and track bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
Help maintain code quality, organization, and internal standards

Technical requirements:

Frustrated with poorly structured, inefficient, and unmaintainable code
Experience with testing frameworks, building backend APIs and user-centric frontends
Solid Computer Science fundamentals knowledge (algorithms, data structures, concurrency, etc.)

Languages you need to know:

React.js, Node.js and TypeScript

It would be very nice if you had:

Strong experience and interest in working with Kubernetes, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform
Experience with Next, and Responsive Web Design, state management patterns and solutions (e.g. Redux) ES2015+, HTML5 APIs and CSS3
Working experience in Continuous Integration/Deployment
B.Sc. degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Software Engineering
