If you are ready to help our clients and project teams succeed, we would love to meet you! Your Role and Responsibilities IBM CSR is seeking a senior content manager who e mploys a unique sense of creativity, curiosity, and out-of-the box thinking when embarking on new projects and designs.
The candidate in this position will strategically develop, curate, and manage educational content that aligns with the latest trends in technology, workplace skills, and the evolving needs of the career upskiller/ re-skiller.
It requires a deep understanding of market intelligence, educational pedagogy for adult learners, and the credentialing landscape to create and adapt content that empowers learners with recognized skills and certifications.
The candidate will use their deep skills, expertise, and experience across L&D including adult learner theories, workforce development strategies; digital learning eco-system design; global learning program execution; data-centered content optimization; collaboration and knowledge management—to support the global learner outcomes through the best learning experiences on the platform.
Key Job Responsibilities include.
Stakeholder and vendor Management.
Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholder s and external vendors to support IBM’s Skill’s pledge by delivering geo-relevant content on IBM SkillsBuild Establish relationships with internal and external content development organizations to deliver on the content strategy; Build relationships with CSR, geo and partner communication teams to support effective marketing of the content and overall storytelling of the program impact.
Market Intelligence Analysis Regularly analyze and stay abreast of the latest trends in technology, career development, and adult education to inform content strategy; Understand the global credentialing landscape, including micro-digital credentials, certifications, and skills-first hiring practices, to ensure content relevance and recognition in the job market.
Learning Principles Apply principles of adult learning theory to design and curate content that is engaging, practical, and accessible for adult learners, recognizing their unique challenges and motivations.
Content Development and Curation Lead the design, development, and curation of a diverse portfolio of courses and materials that cover technical disciplines such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, data analysis, cloud computing and sustainability; Ensure content is available in multiple languages to support a global audience, with a focus on inclusivity and accessibility; Lead global enablement to support IBM CSR Geo teams in their understanding, execution, and alignment of the SkillsBuild offerings.
Partnership and Collaboration.
Collaborate with global partners, industry experts, and internal stakeholders to enrich the program with learning experiences, expert conversations, project-based learning, and access to specialized software and content.
Credentialing and Career Pathways.
Integrate pathways for learners to earn micro-digital credentials that are recognized by the market, supporting skills-first hiring and career advancement; Work with industry and educational partners to ensure credentials are stacked and aligned with career opportunities in technology and beyond.
Evaluation and Adaptation.
Implement mechanisms for regular feedback from learners, partners, and industry to evaluate the impact of content and adapt strategies for continuous improvement; Be knowledgeable about the competing workforce development offerings available in the market and continually work on enhancing IBM’s relevance in the marketplace.
Diversity and Inclusion.
Prioritize the development of content and learning experiences that are inclusive and accessible, catering to the diverse needs of underrepresented communities in technology.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Technology, or a related field; Experience.
At least 3 years of experience in content development, management, or educational program design, specifically for adult learners; Technical Skills.
Deep understanding of adult learning theories, instructional design, and digital content platforms; Analytical Skills.
Ability to analyze market intelligence and apply insights to content strategy; Communication and Collaboration.
Excellent verbal and written communication in English and collaboration skills to work effectively with partners, experts, and learners; Project Management.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines; Commitment to Inclusion.
Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion, with strategies for creating accessible and equitable learning experiences; Advanced/ fluent English; Please submit your resume in English.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise Advanced knowledge of workforce development global market trends in technology education and credentialing; Experience with educational content creation for adult learners, incorporating diverse and inclusive perspectives; Familiarity with global educational standards and credentialing systems; Strong network of contacts in technology, education, and workforce development sectors; Proficiency in more than one language is a plus to support content localization and accessibility.
