INSURANCE MANAGER

Insurance Manager - This role is responsible for ensuring proper coverage for curriers, customers, partners, and company assets across all business operations. Key Responsibilities: Insurance Program Management - Design and maintain insurance programs covering: (i) Currier accidents/injuries and Safety and Security incidents (ii) Fleet and vehicle-related risks(iii) food safety and product liability. Manage relationships with brokers, underwriters, and insurance partners to negotiate terms and ensure optimal coverage and cost efficiency. Claims Management - Develop safety protocols to reduce claims frequency and implement fraud prevention measures for insurance claims. Oversee end-to-end claims processes for for all insurance lines. Monitor service levels and ensure timely and fair resolution. Risk Transfer & Mitigation Partner with safety, operations, legal, and product teams to evaluate risk exposures and support mitigation initiatives. Recommend policy enhancements to address emerging platform risks and regulatory changes. Compliance & Governance - Ensure insurance programs comply with local laws, contractual requirements, and internal policies. Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits, financial reporting, and risk reviews. Analytics & Reporting - Track and analyze loss trends, claims ratios, and insurance KPIs. Generate regular dashboards and reports for senior management and external stakeholders. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Business, Risk Management, Law, or related field. Experience in corporate insurance or risk management, preferably in gig economy, tech, or logistics sectors. Proven expertise in handling high-volume, low-value claim environments (e. g. , auto/moto incidents). Solid understanding of regulatory requirements across LATAM or other regions as relevant. Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel, insurance platforms, and reporting tools
