We are seeking an innovative and autonomousKubernetes Engineerto join a strategic project for one of our major clients in the banking sector. The position is based in Madrid and involves working directly within the client''s private cloud infrastructure team. You will play a key role in elevating their Kubernetes platform to the highest level of performance, scalability, and reliability, as part of a large-scale private cloud initiative. Responsibilities:- Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters with a focus on system and network layer optimizations - Develop and maintain automation scripts for infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes - Collaborate with cross-functional teams across AMER, APAC, and EMEA regions to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications - Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using tools such as Dynatrace, Zabbix, and Grafana - Optimize cluster performance, scalability, and security using advanced tools like Cilium and Illumio - Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Kubernetes infrastructure and applications - Participate in agile development processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiativesRequirements:- Proven experience as a Kubernetes engineer or similar role, with a strong focus on system and network layer expertise - Deep understanding of Kubernetes concepts, components, and APIs - Hands-on experience with container technologies (Docker, containerd) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Helm) - Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go - Experience with infrastructure as code tools, particularly SaltStack - Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools including Dynatrace, Zabbix, and Grafana - Knowledge of network security and microsegmentation technologies like Cilium and Illumio - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment - Excellent communication and organizational skills - Experience working in distributed teams across multiple time zones - Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practicesWhat We Offer:- Opportunity to work on cutting-edge private cloud infrastructure - Career growth path in a dynamic and innovative environment - Flexible work arrangement with 50% remote option - Collaboration with a global team of experts - Continuous learning and development opportunitiesJoin our exciting team and help drive innovation in our private cloud infrastructure.
