The Lead Power Electronics Project Software Engineer role belongs to a multicultural, multigeneration and diverse Power Electronics team.
The Power Electronics team is a branch of the Global Engineering as the System team, the Automation team, and the Design office are.

ob DescriptionEssential Responsibilities Simulate and design an overall Power Electronics system for Industrial application such as Marine Propulsion, Oil and Gas, Metals rolling mills, and Power generation applications.
pecify the Controller Hardware for VFD control upgrades and new development VFDsCustomize the Drive/Converter Software and HMI, validate, and test on a test bench or on a HIL Real Time platform.
rite all project artifacts including Software design and commissioning instructions.
upport the Drive Commissioning.
ualifications/Requirements Experience in Power ElectronicsOr Bachelor degree with experience in Medium and High Voltage Power Electronics ConvertersFamiliar with Matlab/PLECS and C coding with Industrial Informatics and real time system.
illingness to travel when needed to resolve site issues.
esired Characteristics Autonomous, curious with the ability to understand new concepts, coach other engineers, and integrate into a team.
xperience on MMC, multilevel VSI, LCI, DC drives and CycloconverterExperience on Variable Speed application (three phase/multiphase induction/synchronous motors), STATCOM, or active filtering
