LEAD/SENIOR MANUAL QA ENGINEER

About the job We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and communicative Lead/Senior Manual QA Engineer to join our growing team.
This role requires a strong command of English and the flexibility to work during evening hours to effectively collaborate with our team in the Pacific Time Zone (U.
.).
The ideal candidate will thrive in both independent and collaborative work settings and will contribute to the delivery of high-quality software products.
Proven experience in manual QA for web and mobile applications.
Strong skills in API testing using tools like Postman or similar.
Demonstrated ability to create and maintain effective test documentation.
Hands-on experience with QA tools (e.
., Jira, TestRail, or equivalents).
Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Availability to have overlap with the U.
.
Pacific Time Zone.
Responsibilities Perform thorough manual testing of web and mobile applications.
Design, execute, and maintain test cases based on functional specifications.
Report, track, and manage bugs through the defect lifecycle.
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members across time zones.
Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning/review meetings aligned with the Pacific time zone.
Identify gaps in test coverage and suggest improvements to the QA process.
Provide clear, concise, and actionable feedback to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Define QA processes, mentor or guide QA team members (for lead-level candidates).
Preferred Qualifications Experience working with remote or distributed teams.
Basic knowledge of automation concepts is a bonus.
