As an employee at MileIQ working in the role of MLE, you will research, develop, build and ship cutting-edge AI technologies.
The ideal candidate will possess strong programming abilities, a deep understanding of ML engineering principles, and hands-on experience constructing and deploying machine learning models.

Responsibilities.
Own end-to-end AI projects in various domains working with big data and partner effectively with product leads and engineering teams Ship best-possible machine learning solution (high performance, low cost, low latency) to green-field problems.
This includes scoping out the use case, designing and curating appropriate datasets, feature engineering, shortlisting algorithms, training models, experimentation, evaluation and deployment.
Write production quality code and influence the next generation of MileIQ’s system Solve meaningful and challenging problems with recent ML techniques including generative AI and information retrieval Build ML services balancing business impact, operational impact and cost benefits of design and architectural choices Set up and maintain efficient data systems and pipelines to enable AI deployment \n Ideal Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline or equivalent practical experience 6+ years of relevant machine learning experience in software design, development, and algorithm-related solutions Proficiency in Python, PKL, PySpark and RAG Experience in developing and implementing machine learning models with TensorFlow or PyTorch Hands-on experience with big data technologies like Spark, Hadoop, or similar Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Preferred Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker.
Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with data streaming and real-time processing frameworks such as Kafka or Flink is a plus.
A comprehensive understanding of distributed computing and data processing frameworks is a plus.
