The Mapping Data Assistant should have a basic understanding of GIS or previous experience working with other business roles/projects that also use any mapping system/tools.
Responsibilities.
- Providing support and assistance to internal and external clients to update data and information.
- Provide assistance in the area of imagery and mapping data with attention and exceptional quality and accuracy.
- Support the use of mapping tools and knowledge to continuously improve map accuracy and edits.
- Supporting the implementation of quality control tools and answering key quality questions about images.
- Inserting important mapping metadata and other information as requested, with high precision.
