Lead the Prime Named AE for Public Sector, responsible for driving the sales journey and managing a team of Account Executives to facilitate complex, strategic transactions. Develop and execute an aggressive customer acquisition strategy to achieve strong revenue and bookings growth annually. Manage the sales process, set and forecast appropriate metrics, and ensure pipeline generation meets targets. Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders across public sector clients, including government agencies, educational institutions, and non-profits. Leverage extensive public sector experience to navigate complex sales cycles, ensuring compliance with procurement and regulatory requirements. Coordinate with product, customer success, and services teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes. Stay informed about competition and market trends within the public sector. Implement operational excellence, drive adoption of sales methodologies, and utilize sales tools effectively. Maintain strong relationships with internal teams to align strategies and deliver value to public sector clients. Who you are. . . 8+ years of experience in sales, with leadership experience as an Account Executive or Sales Manager. Deep experience working with public sector clients, understanding their needs, and navigating government procurement processes. Consistent overachievement of sales quotas and revenue targets. Proven ability to build loyal, satisfied, and referenceable customer relationships. Experience leading a high-performing sales team within a matrixed organization. Strong operational, analytical, and strategic skills, especially in complex software sales at the C-level.
