Responsabilidades y asignaciones We are seeking an experienced and skilled Network Engineer with System Administrator skills with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in network management, specifically focusing on firewall administration and server administration with a keen eye on overall network security.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and efficient network & server infrastructure.

Responsibilities.
Firewall Administration.
• Design, implement, and manage firewall solutions to ensure the security and integrity of the organization's network.
• Conduct regular firewall audits, analyze logs, and respond promptly to security incidents.
Network Design and Optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance network architectures.
• Optimize network performance and troubleshoot issues, ensuring maximum security, availability and reliability.
System Administration.
• Perform system administration tasks, such as installing, configuring, and maintaining servers and workstations running various operating systems (e.
., Windows, Linux, Unix).
• Create auto build scripts and maintain  • Conduct regular backups and disaster recovery planning to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
Network Security.
• Implement and enforce security policies, protocols, and procedures to protect the network infrastructure from unauthorized access, attacks, and vulnerabilities.
• Stay abreast of emerging threats and security technologies to proactively address potential risks.
• Work with independent auditors to validate network design & operations Monitoring and Analysis.
• Implement and manage network monitoring tools to proactively identify and address potential issues before they impact the network.
• Conduct regular analysis of network traffic and performance to identify areas for improvement.
Documentation.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to junior team members as needed.
• Create a 24/7 incident response playbook Collaboration and Communication.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless integration of network solutions.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide regular updates on network status and projects.
Requisitos y calificaciones Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven hands-on experience as a Senior Network Engineer, with a focus on firewall management.
• In-depth knowledge of firewall technologies, network protocols, and security best practices.
• Industry certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
