Responsibilities The Regional Market Development Manager (RMDM) will collaborate with the Commercial VP in the defined region to execute defined growth strategies.
Through project management framework, the RMDM will lead the business development identified and prioritized opportunities emerging from the market.
Additionally, the RMDM will assist the VP in liaising with the commercial team to identify, scope, quantify, and resource opportunities collaborating with central teams as necessary.
Moreover, the RMDM will serve as the primary liaison with Product Line and Innovation team, ensuring commercial insights are integrated into the initial stages of relevant pre commercial phase of transformational projects aimed at future sales and is aligned with Yara’s Nature Positive strategy.
Assist VP and RSM’s in identifying and prioritizing market development projects for the Region based on regional and customer opportunities and risks Lead the implementation of strategies to maximize benefits and mitigate risks.
Develop market entry or expansion strategies, including estimating market potential, revenue goals, costs, risks, and ROI, and present findings to stakeholders for approval.
Lead and execute events, programs, campaigns, and projects to facilitate the growth of current or future product lines, ensuring alignment with customer and company strategic objectives.
Be the lead on managing existing and creation of new regional Value Propositions Identify change management work required to implement or grow new or existing products into the market and lead projects to aid in this with retailers, farmers, or other industry.
Serve as the primary contact with the Innovation and Product Management teams and other internal functions to align project scope and timing during the commercial phase.
In collaboration with the Innovation team, provide regional expertise in Innovation project development including in ideation and concept creation, as well as being the lead on market implementation and scaling.
Education, Experience & Skill Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Agronomy or Agriculture related field.
Master’s degree may be advantageous.
Project Management Experience.
Experience in Business Development, Market Development, Strategy Development Experience.
Experience in client management and project management.
5 years working experience in commercial positions in Fertilizer or other Agriculture Industry.
Sales and marketing experience Knowledge and affinity for crop nutrition and Regenerative Ag.
Market segmentation or go to market experience is a plus Experience in holding presentations to small or large audiences.
Preferred CCA (Certified Crop Advisor) Some travel required; home office based.
Requires a valid driver’s license.
