SAP ISU ABAP CONSULTANT

SAP ISU ABAP Consultant - This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and international project team, contributing to the development and enhancement of SAP IS-U solutions for a major client in the utilities sector. The consultant will be responsible for delivering high-quality ABAP development within the SAP IS-U environment, including custom reports, enhancements, interfaces, and data migration tasks. You will work remotely from Brazil, but should be open and flexible to travel on-site for specific phases of the project if required. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain ABAP programs within the SAP IS-U module, including customizations and enhancements. Collaborate closely with functional consultants, architects, and client stakeholders to understand business requirements. Support EMIGALL data migration activities, interface development, and performance optimization. Provide documentation and knowledge transfer as part of ongoing delivery. Participate in testing, debugging, and issue resolution across the lifecycle of the project. Requirements: Proven experience with ABAP development, specifically within SAP IS-U (Industry Solutions for Utilities). Strong understanding of SAP IS-U data structures, processes, and integration points. Experience with EMIGALL, BAPIs, BADIs, and interface technologies (IDocs, RFC, etc. ) is highly valuable . Fluent in both English and Portuguese (spoken and written). Ability to work independently in a remote setup and collaborate effectively with international teams. Willingness to travel if needed for key project activities (with prior notice).
