Title and Summary Senior Business Analyst Overview • This is a Senior Analyst role responsible for supporting the analysis and implementation of product, system and operational initiatives supporting changes in Mastercard's business environment with a specialized focus on Settlement Service offerings, settlement/liquidity risks, controls, policies, and operations.
• Liaise between the business and IT, eliciting and translating external and internal customer needs into IT objectives, identifying possible solutions, and defining project requirement.
• Have a deep knowledge of customer needs, products and services.
Responsibilities • Manages medium-sized projects/initiatives as an individual contributor with knowledge in global payments and settlement discipline, leading a segment of several initiatives or contributing to a larger initiative.
• Translates communicated customer needs into specific objectives.
• Identifies solutions for less complex, more common issues.
• Defines settlement project requirements and priorities, estimates necessary resources and develops detailed selection evaluation criteria.
• Coordinates impact to vendor and company workflow for a new product • Understands business context and market dynamics including Regulatory, Legal, Competitive and Technology landscapes.
• Leverages a thorough understanding of the Agile Software Development Lifecycle methodology to partner with Product Management – Technical and Software Development Guilds to develop scalable and sustainable products.
• Partners with and incorporates feedback from cross-functional stakeholders.
• Drive institutionalized knowledge with consistent product documentation (e.
., support documents) across the framework Experiences • Moderate professional experience in financial services, cards, payments or another related field • Understands MasterCard's product delivery process • Experience working at MasterCard facilities and on Customer business locations • Analysis or testing experience required • Experience building relationships and working with technical, business and financial partners Skills/ Abilities.

Education • Bachelors in finance or similar field or equivalent work experience required.
