Capgemini is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team to work for a top 10 US Insurance Carrier.

As a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure solutions for our clients.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of cloud-based projects, leveraging your expertise in infrastructure architecture, automation, and security.
The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in cloud computing technologies, as well as deep knowledge of infrastructure-as-code frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.
\n Key Responsibilities.
Design and deploy cloud infrastructure solutions based on client requirements.
Automate and manage cloud infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code frameworks.
Implement CI/CD pipelines for efficient and scalable cloud deployments.
Maintain cloud infrastructure, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Collaborate with security teams to ensure cloud infrastructure is secure and compliant with industry standards.
Qualifications and Experience.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in cloud platform engineering or a related role.
Strong knowledge of cloud computing technologies, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code frameworks, such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages like Python or PowerShell.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tools, such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols, including VPCs, subnets, and security groups.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
