Salesforce is looking to add a Latin America (LATAM) Senior Tax Manager to our team! This role is responsible for corporate income tax planning and compliance for Salesforce affiliates located in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, and Mexico.
The position is in Sau Paulo, Brazil.
Qualifications.
•    Proficient at communicating in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
•    Strong project management skills with the ability to work independently.
•    Ability to collaborate with internal teams and manage external advisors.
•    8+ years of hands-on corporate income tax experience including preparation and review of corporate income tax filings and returns.
•    Good understanding of regional tax laws and regulations as well as a general understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
•    Big 4 and technology proven experience preferred.
Primary Responsibilities.
•    Manage all aspects of corporate income tax compliance for Salesforce affiliates in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, and Mexico including preparation of workpapers and review of returns prepared by external service providers.
•    Collaborate and coordinate with US tax provision team, international tax team, transfer pricing team, regional accounting teams, and external service providers.
•    Assist with quarterly and annual tax provision calculations including deferred income tax calculations, tax account reconciliations, and RTPs.
•    Provide technical analysis of tax laws in support of positions taken by the Company.
•    Assist with tax planning projects and corporate income tax audits for the region, as needed.
•    Monitor regional tax law changes that could impact the Company’s operations.
•    Provide support to regional operations teams, legal, country controllers, and other collaborators, as needed.
