Airswift is seeking a Sr.
Buyer to work on a Contractor position in Rio de Janeiro with an Oil and Gas Company.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Perform, according to applicable Brazil governing requirements, the necessary actions to conduct acquisitions of products and/or services required by internal clients; Collaborate with the responsible business line (contract owner) to establish and follow up on frame agreements and purchase orders to ensure that competitive contracts are in line with business needs and following Equinor principles; Participate on the evaluation of suppliers from both a technical and commercial standpoint during the tender process Ensure that acquisitions and supplier for business support are carried out in a cost-efficient manner and compliant with all applicable SSU and Brazilian regulatory requirements; Develop and execute regional procurement strategies; Promote strategic sourcing, supplier performance management and supplier relationship management; Maintain a collaborative approach with all internal clients through a Procurement early involvement; Support global category management strategies with local market inputs and recommendations; JOB QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor degree preferably in one of the following.
Engineering, Economics or Business.
Strong experience in Procurement; International Procurement experience on service, equipment and material acquisitions; SAP/ ERP systems Overall good understanding of the Brazilian regulatory framework; Relevant professional experience within Procurement and Contract management functions, from preparation of procurement strategies to contract close-outs; Fluency in Portuguese and English (oral and written) is required.
