SR. OPERATIONS ENGINEER

Airswift is looking for a Sr.
Operations Engineer to work on a permanent contract with one of our clients, a major Oil & Gas Company, located in Rio de Janeiro.
This person will work together with the Coordinator and Operations Manager in the planning of activities related to the operations of projects, bases and bids, as well as identification and resolution of complex problems.
The position involves effectively administering, planning, and executing operations in accordance with the scope, schedule, quality requirements, safety, and costs involved efficiently and effectively.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Plan and coordinate activities in shipyards, logistics bases and wharves to deliver the assigned scope such as equipment preparation, mobilization, demobilization, spooling, etc.
Prepare mobilization plans and define loading sequences/constraints.
Prepare, review and comment on Technical Documents (procedures, drawings, mooring design, schedules, scopes of work, technical reports, among others) to support operations.
Define scope of work/technical specifications and establish contact with SCM to select outsourced vessels, services and assets related to operations, preparing the scope of work and reviewing technical offers.
Provide operational information to the Engineering and Planning teams.
Interface with Engineering to ensure that the designed equipment meets operational needs.
Prepare, together with the Operations Manager, readiness reviews before the start of the execution of operational activities.
Ensure that costs and planning of third-party services are tracked by monitoring their cost base.
Ensure that project equipment is mobilized and demobilized in an efficient and timely manner.
Supervise the material tracking activity through the project material tracker and ensure the inspection, readiness, delivery, tracking and demobilization of equipment.
Ensure that operations are planned and executed efficiently and safely.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
Advanced English Motivation and adaptation to work with sudden changes and fluid environments.
Execution-oriented with decision-making skills.
Coordination of multiple interfaces between functions.
Communication and organizational skills.
Experience in actions to improve Safety, Quality and Sustainability.
Desirable knowledge in MS Project and AutoCad.
Availability for travel and rotation between sites, shipyards and operational bases.
Required to have solid experience in FPSO activities (Mooring line hook-up, pull-in risers, topside activities, PTW etc).
