Power Electronics Engineer - High Power Conversion Qualifications.
· MSc in Electrical Engineering with a focus on power electronics, Ph.
.
is preferred · 8+ years of hands-on power electronics design and development · A proven track record of working on the design, simulations, and analysis of power conversion products · Experience in PCB layout and design of analog/digital circuits · A proven track record of experience with the full production cycle from ideation to manufacturing of multiple products · Strong understanding of power conversion topologies and control strategies, switching device characteristics and losses, gate driving circuit design, magnetics, etc.
· High volume product design experience · Hands-on hardware experience in power electronics design · Design experience with products that connect to the electrical grid · Experience with NPI and working with Contract Manufacturing for high-volume production · Remain engaged, proactive and positive in tough circumstances, owning assignments and taking full accountability for overall team success · A leadership personality Responsibilities · Own full product lifecycle.
