What You’ll DoData Modeling & Analysis Build and automate clear, robust Excel/Google Sheet models (XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, dynamic arrays, named ranges, error checks) to surface key trends and questions. Data Shaping (SQL & Tools) Extract, transform and validate data—whether via SQL (SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, CTEs, window functions) or an equivalent platform—to answer business questions. Financial Impact & Scenario Analysis Evaluate the financial implications of strategic initiatives, linking decisions to P&L, cash flow and liquidity outcomes. Run scenario analyses to stress-test assumptions and support data-informed tradeoffs. Product Strategy & Opportunity Assessment Support both core product optimization and new business development by synthesizing internal performance signals with external market and competitor intelligence. Identify opportunities to improve product economics, inform go-to-market decisions, and shape feature and pricing strategies for existing & new products. Strategic Storytelling Translate complex analyses into concise, narrative-driven presentations and dashboards for C-level audiences. What you need to succeedExcel Mastery: Advanced formulas, dynamic arrays, named ranges and built-in sanity checks for error-resistant models. Spreadsheet Storytelling: Clean layouts and intuitive visuals so insights are instantly clear. SQL Fluency & Data Shaping: Comfortable writing queries or using equivalent tools to slice, dice and aggregate large datasets. Financial Fluency: Understand how P&L, balance sheet and cash flow interconnect with our products and operations.
