TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM MANAGER, MARKETPLACE

DESCRIPTION Amazon is seeking a motivated and analytical Transportation Specialist to help develop innovative solutions and manage our transportation network powered by third-party (3P) carriers.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, optimizing performance, and supporting the ongoing expansion of our logistics programs.
Key job responsibilities - Manage, monitor, and improve key transportation performance metrics - Analyze sales forecasts and project impacts to identify potential adjustments in the first-mile logistics chain - Provide daily support to 3P operations, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing business enhancements - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand dependencies across upstream and downstream processes and technologies - Proactively identify and resolve process bottlenecks to enhance overall efficiency - Maintain accurate and up-to-date process documentation, ensuring alignment and compliance across teams - Communicate effectively with external partners (carriers, vendors, suppliers) and internal stakeholders - Generate and analyze operational and performance reports to drive data-based decision-making - Partner closely with 3P carriers to address and resolve day-to-day operational issues - Define and manage network support elements, such as transit times, rate cards, operational costs, and performance KPIs - Support documentation and standardization of transportation flows to ensure clarity and consistency - Lead or support expansion projects focused on speed, scalability, and process improvement - Conduct benchmarking with global teams to evaluate and implement best practices in Brazil - Drive the implementation of new logistical services within the Inbound operation About the team The Marketplace team is highly engaged and fully committed to achieving Amazon's goals, and we also make sure to have fun while making history BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree - Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL - Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements - Speak, write, and read fluently in English PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership - Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization - Experience building processes, project management, and schedules - Experience in program or project management Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
