WIRELESS ENGINEER

Wireless Engineer - The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of RF (Radio Frequency) principles, Wi-Fi technologies, and wireless protocols. You will be responsible for ensuring high-performance wireless connectivity across all environments while supporting troubleshooting and optimization efforts. Key Responsibilities: Design and deploy wireless networks (Wi-Fi, microwave, LTE, 5G, etc. ) in line with business requirements. Conduct RF site surveys and spectrum analysis using tools such as Ekahau, AirMagnet, or NetSpot. Configure and manage wireless LAN controllers, access points, and associated networking infrastructure. Troubleshoot wireless connectivity issues and optimize network performance. Monitor and maintain wireless systems to ensure reliability, security, and scalability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support mobile and IoT device integration. Evaluate and recommend new wireless technologies and solutions. Ensure compliance with wireless communication regulations and best practices. Maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configuration notes, and inventory records. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). 3+ years of experience in wireless network engineering or similar roles. Strong understanding of wireless standards (802. 11a/b/g/n/ac/ax), RF propagation, and network protocols. Experience with wireless hardware vendors such as Cisco, Aruba, Ubiquiti, or Ruckus. Proficiency in wireless tools: Ekahau, AirMagnet, Wireshark, etc. Knowledge of security protocols (WPA2/WPA3, 802. 1X, RADIUS). Familiarity with network infrastructure (switching, routing, firewalls). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Background in cellular (LTE/5G) or point-to-point wireless systems.
