Worked as an instrument Supervisor in CHENNAI PETROLEUM CORPORATION Nagapattinam, work Involved in Construction, installation, calibration, testing, loop checking and commissioning of various types process control instruments. 

Construction & Commissioning 

Supervision for the ongoing projects and small instrument modification works.
Calibration of instrument as per data sheet & Making calibration reports as per data sheet
Supervision of field Instrument installation and termination as per Hook up drawing.
Erection activities like cabling, fabrication & installation of supporting, tubing, installation of panels as per approved drawings..
Troubleshooting and Loop checking, panel wiring modification as per client requirement.
Prepared daily work schedules, work permits, which includes monitoring of their progress status and organize Technicians for execution of pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.

Brown fields and Green fields
         Worked as an Instrument Supervisor in SHELL IRAQ PETROLEUM DEVELOPMENT MAJNOON, CPF (Central Process Facilities), DS1 and DS2.
    Work involved in Pre-commissioning activities with the progress report to ensure that systems have reached the RFC status with associated punch list. Approve construction and commissioning documentation such as RFI, ITR check sheets, completed job cards, and review Mechanical completion and pre commissioning dossiers, Ready for commissioning dossiers, Ready for start- up dossiers and System Completion dossiers. This includes in witnessing and approval of operational test procedure activities, site acceptance test, and participation during walk down coordinate with SIMOPS (Simultaneous operations, nearby other discipline like mech. Ele. Activities) and maintenance personnel and Contractors/Sub Contractors for system completion before performance test which includes reviewing the existing punch list and approved completed punch list.
         Prepared daily work schedules, work permits which includes monitoring of their progress status and organize Technicians for execution of pre-commissioning and commissioning of all instrumentation equipments during cold loop, hot loop and functional checks as well as conducting tool box talk for full understanding of all involved personnel of work scope as per work permits requirements and to ensure the execution of work are in safe and efficient manner. Supervise Technicians to carry out instrumentation jobs activities and associated control system related to ICSS, DCS system (EMERSON DELTA V), ESD system, IPF testing, Fire and gas system, SOLAR Gas Turbines, Well heads, Oil and gas metering system, flare ignition system, pig launchers and receivers, Separators and dehydration facilities, utilities packages to ensure that it is carried out and followed in accordance with approved drawings and project specification procedures this includes installation, loop checking, repair and calibration checks of defective instruments, interlocks/alarms and control verifications, simulation, cause and effect matrix checks, function test, field calibration and highlight technical problems encountered and proposed corrective actions. Execute the pre-commissioning, commissioning, start up and test run activities, OTP and provide assistance to Vendors as required for minor field instrumentation modifications, repair and replacement.
          Report weekly progress report, punch list clearance and involved in material receiving and inspection of commissioning spares according to project specification to ensure availability of equipment in a day to day work schedule.
          Responsible in maintaining  of equipment records and spare parts inventory, Preparation for  daily work schedules, implementation of preventive maintenance as per scheduled in CMMS using SAP, while determining job priorities for allocating manpower to ensure timely completion of jobs according to schedule and participate closely with other crafts personnel for planned shutdown activities including commissioning and start up to provide corrective actions, evaluate performance of Instrumentation control system performance to enhance safety and efficiency Procedures in implementing effective scheduling for preventive maintenance program of plant equipment and facilities according to schedules check lists and specific equipment requirements using SAP in CMMS, and provide technical support to technicians, conduct training of local employees related to HSE and HAZOP.
