Key job responsibilities As an Area Manager, you will.
· Lead and supervise a team of hourly associates in Inventory Control/Quality Assurance operations within the Fulfillment Center.
· Champion safety initiatives and ensure full compliance to maintain a safe and secure work environment for all associates.
· Coordinate inventory control maintenance and random counts aligned with network strategies, ensuring SOX compliance and consistency.
· Measure quality, inventory integrity, and accuracy, delivering actionable feedback to the operations management team.
· Conduct shift planning and forecasting while effectively assigning and directing work.
· Identify root causes of inventory deviations using cause-and-effect methodologies and implement corrective actions.
· Drive and support network-wide Fulfillment & Operations-focused quality initiatives.
· Review and analyze customer complaints and process defect data, developing comprehensive action plans to minimize future occurrences.
· Promote process improvements while developing your team’s capabilities to keep pace with our rapid growth, fostering a culture of excellence and engagement.
· Appraise team performance, providing tailored development, recognition, and coaching to unlock their full potential.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree or equivalent - Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays - Speak, write, and read fluently in English - Employee and performance management experience - Speak, write, and read fluently in Portuguese PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Knowledge of Kaizen and Lean methodology techniques Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
