Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a passionate and experienced Backend Tech Lead to join our team in São Paulo (hybrid model). If you''re excited about technology, engineering excellence, and leading high-impact projects, this is the place for you!What will you do?Lead the design and implementation of backend technical solutions, with an architecture based on microservices using SpringBoot. Ensure compliance with architectural frameworks and technical standards. Drive implementation of alerts, metrics, and tests to ensure robust, secure, and high-quality software. Contribute to the evolution and maintenance of systems with a focus on performance, scalability, and resilience. Act as a technical mentor, fostering a culture of best practices and high-quality engineering. Support the execution and monitoring of Agile product development methodologies. What are we looking for?Must Have:6+ years of experience in backend application development. Proven experience with: SpringBoot, SpringCloud, Event-Driven Architecture, Kafka, Redis HA, Exadata, MQ. Advanced knowledge of: Hexagonal Architecture, DDD, TDD, BDD, Reactive and Functional Programming, Java 21. Strong expertise in: OpenShift, GitHub Workflows, CI/CD, Unit Testing, REST APIs, S3, XML/XSD, Security and Quality Gates (SAST, DAST). Experience in API-first design, integration flows, and resilience patterns. Knowledge of distributed systems and banking message standards (MX, MT). Fluency in English. Strong soft skills: communication, flexibility, accountability, teamwork, positive attitude, and mentorship abilities. Nice to Have:Technical knowledge of: Ansible Tower, Grafana, Prometheus, Sonar, Keycloak, APIConnect. Functional knowledge in: Transactional banking and cash flow systems. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and high-performance API development.
