Summary Description This is a hybrid position, in our São Bernardo do Campo site.
This professional will be responsible for coordinating all the Configuration Management activities in collaboration with all the configuration managers and other stakeholders, in particular the hardware team, the Software team, the product team and/or the production team.
Main responsibilities Specify the Configuration Management requirements to subcontractors and suppliers through statements of work and ensure that he Configuration Management requirements are properly implemented (development of the SOW, etc.); Participate in the selection of configuration items and to the establishment of the various breakdown structures; Ensure identification activities piloting and implementation (Configuration Items selection, breakdown structures identification, baseline needs…); Manage the corrections and evolutions on the projects; lead or participate to the configuration control commissions (CCBs); Establish the configuration baselines (FBL, ABL, PBL, and all baselines according to product or project’s needs); Ensure the recording and the restitution of the configuration status; Perform configuration verifications; Participate in end of phase reviews (PDR, CDR...); Raise awareness, advise and share best practices with the various contributors on the implementation of configuration management.
Requirements Bachelor degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, or related areas); Solid previous experience in configuration management or quality management system; Knowledge in PLM; Technical standards; Doctorate or master's degree in Engineering (desirable); Knowledge in Windchill and JIRA (desirable).
