Responsibilities The Data Tech Manager will be the strategic data reference within the Finance area.
They will lead an analytics team, coordinate the financial data architecture and main (non-financial) KPIs, and serve as the bridge between business systems, products, and reporting, focusing on automation, reliability, and scalability of information.
This role has cross-functional visibility and will work in close collaboration with the VP of Finance, the VP of Data, Business Units, and Product Teams (Lending, Wallet, Credit Card, and others), also taking on the role of Finance Product Owner in key initiatives involving new products and data infrastructure.
Restructure, support, and grow the current Finance Analytics team (3 people), aligning capabilities with Finance's strategic priorities.
Understand the area’s needs and translate them into a data initiatives roadmap, managing team execution and development.
Transform a team that currently works only on data visualization initiatives into one that prioritizes automatic integrations, data quality at the source, and financial data architecture solutions design.
Be the main point of contact for Finance with the CTO's Data team.
Actively participate in architecture, governance, and modeling best practice definitions, ensuring coherence and efficiency in implemented solutions.
Work side by side with Data Engineering and Data Governance to ensure a clean, reliable, and well-documented data flow.
Automate reports and manual processes, focusing on efficiency and scalability.
Develop a financial data connector that integrates SAP with Databricks, applying business logic to build views by BU, product, and cost center.
Build a single source of truth for financial information, consolidating integrations and consistent reporting structures.
Act as Finance Product Owner in all key product development initiatives (Lending, Wallet, Credit Card).
Interact with Product Leads to ensure financial requirements are correctly structured from the source, facilitating traceability, reconciliation, and reporting from source systems.
Participate in the implementation of a new planning and reporting tool, including requirements definition, data architecture design, and collaboration in selecting the solution.
Lead data modeling in the Datamart and the creation of views in Databricks to support managerial and strategic reporting.
Work in coordination with the regulatory team on the construction/validation of accounting CADOC submissions required by the Central Bank (Bacen), in collaboration with Regulatory Reporting and Compliance.
Solid experience in SQL and Spark (PySpark) for analysis and development of analytical views.
Proficiency in visualization tools such as Qlik Sense and Tableau, preferably, or others.
Hands-on experience with Databricks, data mart design, and business-oriented analytical models.
Familiarity with dbt, Git, and collaborative documentation tools Ability to translate business needs into reusable and governed analytical solutions.
Lead methodological definitions of metrics, modeling conventions, and analytical view design patterns at the organizational level.
Design analytical solutions that scale beyond a single product or domain, enabling cross-tribe interoperability and reuse.
Represent the area in data committees (governance, quality, architecture) and define technical guidelines for analytics teams.
Collaborate with other Analytics Engineers, sharing practices and frameworks within the chapter of their specialty.
Contribute to decisions regarding the evolution of the analytics platform (naming conventions, catalog, semantics, observability tools).
