Sound like this might be the opportunity you have been looking for?Its not about what you have done somewhere else, its all about what you are capable of doing here. **The Work Youll Do**:As Director of Product Management you will define, communicate and lead product strategies for Sovos while working closely with the Executive Team to articulate and substantiate decisions regarding go-to-market strategies, product roadmaps, operations readiness and sales enablement. You will engage with leaders across the organization, gather input from internal and external resources, and weigh them against business objectives to ensure our product roadmap is strategically positioned, exceeds revenue goals and achieves strong client satisfaction and retention levels. Developing innovative solutions to client problems that will scale across thousands of clients and being skilled in rallying support for ideas that will drive all phase of product execution and client engagement is critical. More specifically, you will:- Manage a highly effective Product Management team, develop talent and provide clear goals and expectations- Manage the development and direction of assigned product lines including new product and feature enhancements, competitive assessment, messaging, sales training and adoption- Drive production development through the entire development cycle, from conceptualization, design and development through to launch and ongoing support in a fast-paced, agile environment- Be data driven and iterative - comfortable taking risks (as long as we test and learn along the way)- Identify, develop and drive product best practices- Define key performance indicators to monitor and quantify product success and report to internal Leadership team- Develop marketing strategies and tactics including content development, pricing, promotion, and channel strategies- Drive close collaboration of product management with marketing, sales, services, and product development functions- Moderate travel required to Sovos locations and events- Demonstrate initiative, drive and determination to achieve results, success and growth. - Take full responsibility for ensuring internal and external customer satisfaction. **What We Need From You**:- 10 + years of progressive experience within the software industry; experience working within the compliance industry preferred- 5 + years of experience leading and developing outstanding people- Substantial travel required to Sovos locations or events- Exceptional business development, business management and leadership skills- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork, ability to foster/manage relationships across multiple departments/stakeholders- Excellent organizational and communication skills, including the ability to lead presentations- Track record of exceeding expectations leading product management processes including: visioning, customer/competitor research, strategic planning, business modeling, and product definition- International experience, both in terms of working in a globally distributed team with many different cultures and internationalization of the products is a plus- Experience in M&A and partnership planning preferred**What Does Sovos Offer You?**- The tools to grow your career both personally and professionally:_Did you know that over 30% of our employees earned a promotion or job change In FY2020?
