Employee Relations and Compliance Specialist - This role plays a key part in maintaining a positive, ethical, and legally compliant work environment by managing employee relations matters and supporting compliance initiatives across the organization. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to managers and employees. Conduct workplace investigations regarding misconduct, grievances, or policy violations in a fair and timely manner. Ensure adherence to internal policies, labor laws, and ethical standards, especially regarding disciplinary actions, performance management, and terminations. Partner with Legal, HR Ops, HRBPs and business leaders to identify and address trends in employee relations matters and recommend proactive solutions. Monitor compliance with labor and employment regulations, both local and international, where applicable. Support the rollout and continuous improvement of compliance programs (e. g. , Code of Conduct, anti-harassment, whistleblower channels, trainings). Draft and maintain clear documentation related to cases, compliance initiatives, and audits. Develop training sessions and communication materials on compliance and employee conduct topics. Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and HR to ensure consistent interpretation and application of policies. Track and report metrics related to employee relations and compliance, offering insights for leadership decision-making. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Law, Human Resources, Psychology, or related field. Legal background is a plus. 8+ years of experience in employee relations, HR compliance, or related areas. Solid understanding of labor and employment law, especially in Brazil. Experience in conducting workplace investigations and managing sensitive employee matters. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to handle complex and confidential information with discretion. Ability to navigate ambiguity and propose structured solutions. Fluent in English; other languages are a plus (especially Spanish or Portuguese, depending on the region). Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in multinational tech companies or cross-border environments. Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e. g. , SOX, FCPA, LGPD/GDPR). Certification in HR or Compliance (e. g. , SHRM, CEBS, LPEC) is a plus.
