100% Remote Our client, a rapidly growing personal finance startup, is in search of a skilled ETL QA Automation Engineer to join their dynamic team.
This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of the data processes within the organization's financial systems.
As the company continues to innovate and expand its offerings, they are seeking a dedicated professional who can contribute to maintaining the high standards of data accuracy and integrity that are vital to the success of their platform.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and facilitate the Agile process within cross-functional teams Help analyze requirements and develop testing strategies Collaborate with product owners, project managers, data analysts, data scientists, and developers Refine user stories and acceptance criteria Provide feedback on missing business flows and strategies Write complex SQL queries on tables with large datasets Ensure data integrity throughout the ETL lifecycle Build and maintain automated test coverage using PyTest/Python Validate business goals and technical solutions for new and existing functionality Certify each ticket within each sprint by validating business goals and technical solutions Act as the key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases Provide QA services and UAT guidance Work with team leads from discovery to resolution Coordinate QA resources internally and externally for the squad \n 5+ years of experience in agile software development testing Testing and reviewing user stories, acceptance criteria, and other available information Developing test plans and test scenarios, both manual and automated 3+ years of experience in database testing Experience with relational databases, preferably Snowflake and MS SQL Server Familiarity with ETL/ELT data solutions and reporting and analytics tools Knowledge of data warehouse concepts Understanding of star schemas, snowflakes, facts, and dimensional modeling Experience in SQL query writing Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries Ability to determine types of testing required (e.
., data validation, regression) Evaluating the testability of requirements and creating comprehensive test plans Two or more years of experience in creating automated scripts using pytest Creating automated scripts for data validation
