nfraestructure Engineering Specialist (Hybrid)Job Summary Embark on a transformative journey with Equinix's Engineering Tool Brazil team, where your expertise will be pivotal in steering our Managed Service tools toward new horizons.
This role is designed for a visionary capable of orchestrating global dialogues aimed at harmonizing infrastructure architecture while bolstering the foundational ecosystem of our existing tools.
We are on the lookout for an individual who embodies analytical acumen, proactive dynamism, and a relentless pursuit of innovation and complex challenges.
hat You Will Be DoingDeploy and manage critical infrastructure components including servers, hypervisors, operating systems, and applications.
rovide N3-level support and escalation, manage critical incidents, and perform capacity and performance analyses to propose optimization solutions.
versee infrastructure monitoring, enhance availability, and swiftly address issues.
Maintain and update IT infrastructure documentation and operational procedures.
ngage in new projects to enhance product infrastructure, keeping abreast of market trends and tools.
onduct preventive maintenance, ensure product security, manage equipment warranties and support, and participate in supplier meetings and technical events.
nvestigate, document, and resolve root causes of problems or failures.
hat We’ll Expect From YouA complete degree in the IT field.
roficiency in managing DELL and HP physical servers and VMWare-based infrastructure.
eep knowledge of network infrastructure, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux Operating Systems, and the Zabbix monitoring platform.
dvanced English proficiency for conversation.
xperience in scripting for automation (Python preferred), infrastructure projects, and design.
amiliarity with Commvault Backup or Veeam Backup.
hat Will Be a Differential If You HaveITIL V3/V4 Practitioner or similar certifications.
mware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP Design/Deploy).
ed Hat Certified Architect (RHCA).
ertified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
