IT INFRA - SENIOR ASSOCIATE

SUMMARY OF POSITION AND OBJECTIVES:This role will be responsible for configuring the infrastructure and deploying applications on Windows IIS hosted platform in partnership with teams like Automation, Application support and other infra teams through integration or the dev/ops model resulting in highly available environments and associated systemsJob description:Experience in IIS 10 web servers and .Net web applications.Experience in Configuration of Bindings, Website Creation/DeletionExperience in Backup of Website/ConfigurationWorking knowledge of App Pools, Virtual Directory, Worker ProcessWorking knowledge of SSL, Access Control, Authentication, Implementing SecurityMicrosoft Azure PaaS and SaaS solution development technologies including Azure Functions,.NET, JavaScript, Python etc.Microsoft Azure Operational and Monitoring toolsKnowledge on deployment tools (preferably Octopus).Scripting knowledge(PowerShell).Understanding of IIS, ASP.NET application deployment and troubleshooting is requiredUnderstanding of .Net FrameworkKnowledge on Load balancers & Monitoring tools.knowledge on cloud technology - Azure.Support/administration experience in MS SQL ServerExperience in Windows Server 2016/2019 administration and troubleshootingITIL process awareness (Change/Incident/Problem) - foundation certification preferredCreated the complete CI/CD pipelineImplemented micro services using Docker and created Docker file and containers.Widely used Docker composes for creating the DEV & QA Environments.Knowledge of deployment orchestration and configuration management tools (Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, Dockers, and Kubernetes).Requisitos:QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:English Language is mandatory to collaborate in a global environment, including writing, speaking and presenting.Expertise on IIS 10 with strong understanding on architecture, configurations and best practices of web server administration.Management of web applications including monitoring, tuning, troubleshooting, and optimizing the applications and the web servers hosting them.Strong understanding of load balancing, DNS and http\https request flow.Work closely with other system and database administrators as well as application support\development teams to troubleshoot performance and other production issues.Working knowledge on deployment and configuration management tools (Preferably Octopus deploy).Experience developing scripts for automation of day to day tasks through PowerShell.Good knowledge on windows cluster concepts like load balance and always-on.Strong exposure of complete project development life cycle.Understanding of technical / operational bottlenecks in the deployments.To ensure technical and process documentation are created and kept up to date.Knowledge on the complete CI/CD pipeline.Good knowledge on Microsoft Azure administrative concepts.Created the complete CI/CD pipelineImplemented micro services using Docker and created Docker file and containers.Widely used Docker composes for creating the DEV & QA Environments.Microsoft Azure PaaS and SaaS solution development technologies including Azure Functions,.NET, JavaScript, Python etc.Microsoft Azure Operational and Monitoring toolsKnowledge of deployment orchestration and configuration management tools (Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, Dockers, and Kubernetes). 5 to 6  Years overall experience with meeting below skills:•           PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS – Good analytical and troubleshooting skills and the ability to think logically through a problem. Must have the initiative, tenacity and commitment to see problems through to resolution.•           TECHNICAL EXPERTISE – Strong knowledge in IIS Administration who will work with App support team and Release team to manage .Net web application, deployment, troubleshooting and monitoring. Good scripting knowledge to identify and automate recurring manual tasks.•           CUSTOMER SERVICE – Must be the one who builds connections and relieves bottlenecks, which is done by talking to people. Aligning Dev and Ops goals for the customer's sake. As a devops pro must be able to assess and streamline the goals of Dev and Ops teams towards the common goal to ensure a flawless end user experience•           ATTENTION TO DETAIL – Must have the ability with good attention to details. Excellent organisational and time management skills.
