LEAD DEVOPS

Lead Devops - In addition, they are responsible for availability, performance, efficiency, change management, monitoring, emergency response, and capacity planning to resulting in the Improved Client Experience. Responsibilities:Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of servicesfrom inception and design, through deployment, operation and refinement. Work with R&D teams to understand the standards of Product Development and recommend changes towards increased stability of the products and applications. Building software to improve DevOps, ITOps, and support processes which support the everything as code model such as Infrastructure as code, Platform as a service, etc. Perform safe reliable deployments of all appropriate software artifacts into various systems from Development, Staging to Production. Support services before they go live through activities such as system design consulting, developing software platforms and frameworks, capacity planning and launch reviews. Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall system health. Scale systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation and evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity. Analyze system problems including root cause determination and manage any needed recovery process to ensure a quick restoration of service without loss of data. Work together with other SRE teams across ADP to improve operations and collaboration to enable cross team efficiencies. Participating in the migration of products from the DataCentre to the Cloud (AWS) and Cloud-Native DevOps. Maintains a broad knowledge of state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and/or systems particularly in terms of operations in datacentres and the CloudPerforms miscellaneous job-related duties as assignedQualifications: Experience/Skills:Experience working under a Scrum methodologyAbility to analyze and resolve problems through effective customer interface and communication. Ability to prioritize workloadDeep knowledge of version control (GIT compatible version control)DevOps processes and tools that enable MicroService developmentExperience building Docker containers and managing Kubernetes deploymentsCI/CD implementation expertise (Jenkins / Groovy)Good knowledge on deploy and manage cloud native applications (preferable using AWS). Experience on infrastructure as code (preferable CloudFormation, Terraform and/or Ansible). Familiar with programming languages like Python, Groovy, PowerShell or similarExperience in deploy and manage Windows Servers (Networking and Security knowledge).
